Issue

There's a known issue that sometimes the Mic is not working. You already enable the Mic, the voice indicator (green ones) already filling up, but nobody still cannot hear your voice. This only happens to frequent COSMIZE users. Usually not happen to first-time users.

Caused by

Due to some people’s complex PC Setup and overuse of the microphone in other applications (Zoom, Gmeet, Discord, etc.). Sometimes people cannot hear our voices but the speech indicator runs well.

Solution

Please follow these steps to solve this issue.

  1. Clear cache / clear browser data How to Clear Cache

  2. Reset Permission How to Reset Permission

  3. Open COSMIZEhttps://app.cosmize.io/ and ensure Allow your Microphone and login as usual.

If the problem still persists, you can restart your PC and reopen it.
